Garden Room Completion

The first phase of our project to develop High View, Zeals is complete. The garden room will provide space away from the main house for work and exercise. It also presented us with an opportunity to test materials, details and working methods that will feature across the different work phases.

The homegrown larch cladding was sourced from a local sawmills and finished with a silicon formula that encourages an even weathering of the timber. The refined detailing of the timber cladding is offset by the traditional roof detailing that reflects local vernacular materials and techniques.
