Planning Approved

Our paired extension project near Knutsford, Cheshire has received planning approval after a lengthy process negotiating with nesting bats.

We were commissioned by two brothers to rationalise a series of historic but outdated adaptions a pair of semi-detached, 19th century church cottages set within the Greater Manchester Green Belt.

The extensions will be clad in cedar felled and milled by the brothers’ tree surgery business. The cedar will be coated with a pine tar to create a natural protective layer that relates to the timber clad bell tower to the neighbouring church.

Expected on site in summer 2026.
