High View on Site

Construction has begun on phase 2 of our project at High View, Zeals. The existing 1970s bungalow will be sensitively reconfigured to add spaces that better relate to their immediate and wider context within the Zeals conservation area. The retained fabric is to be wrapped in a skin of woodfibre insulation and breathable roughcast render to compliment the proposed on-site renewable energy generation.

The existing cast stone garage has been demolished ready for the reinforcement of the existing foundations. Once set, a covered scaffold will be wrap the building to protect the retained fabric from the elements. Until then, an impressive temporary OSB wall will keep the winter weather out.
