Ridge raising

The second phase of our project at High View has gained planning. High View is set within the Zeals conservation area which is formed around the neighbouring St Michaels church. The church was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, who is most notable for his work on St Pancras Station and the Midland Hotel. Our design took subtle cues from the church and the surrounding architectural vernacular to help the building sit better within it’s context.

Works in this phase will focus on the main house where we will be retrofitting the existing bungalow shell, reconfiguring the internal layout and replacing the hipped roof with a new gabled roof. Three new bedrooms will be incorporated into the roofspace.
